Xcode 4.2 updater

All,

If you update from Xcode 4.1 (or earlier I guess), don't look in /Developer, don't look in /Applications/Xcode<something or other>.

Instead go to the "i"s in /Applications and find Install Xcode. I finally found it with a full Spotlight search.

I have no idea why Apple names it "Install Xcode" rather than "Xcode Installer"; in Software Update, the Installed Software tab, it's named "Xcode Install Assistant". It's almost as if Apple was trying to hide it in my long, long list of /Applications.

I filed a bug on usability for App Store. I also requested giving us back the option for .dmg downloads for Xcode.

I'll rant about my failing iPad iOS 5 update in some other list.

<grump>
