Unable to create a snapshot

  • Subject: Unable to create a snapshot

I'm trying to use the Xcode Snapshot feature. However it fails whenever I select File>Create a Snapshot…

"Unable to create a snapshot

The following paths are ignored by one of your .gitignore files:
Users/dhill/projects/feature/SongCheck/.DS_Store
Use -f if you really want to add them.
fatal: no files added"

It appears that snapshots create a standalone git repository and for some reason my .gitignore is causing problems. Any ideas on how to make this work?

Thanks.
