Xcode always compiles all files

  • Subject: Xcode always compiles all files

I just created a new project (not document based, no core data, no unit tests) and hit run.

The I did nothing, but hit "Run" again. And Xcode told me: precompiling 1, compiling 2 of 2 source files, etc.

This can be repeated ad nausem.
No big deal with 2 files, but really annoying in a big project.

The project resides at "/Volumes/เม่น/Users/gerriet/Source/Stuff 10.7.1/Test".
(If the mailing list mishandles Unicode: the thing after Volumes is a Thai porcupine).

Then I copied the whole stuff to /tmp/Test and opened it in Xcode.
And everything works perfectly. Only changed files get re-compiled.

Is this a known bug?
Any workaround? (I am not prepared to put real projects into /tmp).

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
