There seems to be quite a lot of old stuff on my hard disk, which I would like to delete.
But I am not sure, whether this can be really deleted without bad effects.
/Developer/Library/Developer/Shared
creates only empty folders - can be deleted, or not?
/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/Documentation
creates a DocSet folder with com.apple.adc.documentation.AppleiOS4_3.iOSLibrary.docset version 38.54 (current version seems to be 38.103)
- can be deleted, or not?
/Developer/Documentation/DocSets
contains docsets which seem to be old
- can be deleted, or not?
/Library/Developer/Documentation/DocSets
seems to be the current location for docsets, but there is:
com.apple.ADC_Reference_Library.DeveloperTools.docset version 501.4, which is not seen by Xcode (Xcode → Preferences → Documentation)
- can be deleted, or not?
and also com.apple.adc.documentation.AppleSnowLeopard.CoreReference.docset version 409.200, which *is* seen by Xcode, but I am not sure, whether I need this or not.
Would it not be enough to have just the Lion.CoreReference.docset ?
Kind regards,
Gerriet.
