Don't count on it. In fact, in contradiction to this, there isn't a 4.1 for Snow Leopard. There is a 4.1 for Snow Leopard together with a payed developer account. Or a 4.1 for Lion. See the difference? This is my whole gripe, you get all kinds of updates based on all kind of secondary conditions, typically based on whether you've paid Apple enough money, where "enough" changes over time. And moreover, depending on the conditions you've met, you have to get it from a different place, so you don't even know where to look for it. It makes the update process completely opaque, confusing, and unpredictable. And they don't tell you about any of this, not even when asking for the information explicitly (only vague promises that are broken a month later.) This is really no basis to do business. If I cannot count on anything for the future, why should I invest in it?
I seriously don't understand why Apple cannot simply release 4.x for people who pay for 4.x and have it all posted on a clear and predictable place. It may be in multiple places, but than do it *and*, not *or*.
