Xcode 3.2.6 file names and lion

When I use Xcode 3.2.6 in lion (10.7.3), all the names of the source files spontaneously change at various intervals to the name of the project.
It is easy to work around, just annoying.
Seems like autosave trying to do something.
Is there an easy fix?
