In the window titlebar. The popup shows the path to the project, making it useless for quick jumps to any of the containing folders - something I do frequently as my source files are usually at least 5 levels deep in our tree - and also useless for telling which of the 20-30 files I have open is the one I actually want.

When I use Xcode 3.2.6 in lion (10.7.3), all the names of the source files spontaneously change at various intervals to the name of the project.

Whoa, where?  In the project treeview?  On disk?  Both?

Some of us have had some file corruption (disappearing text) and mysterious messages saying an external application changed the file that's in the editor, for which we pointed the finger at Lion file-versioning.  Anything more you can tell us about your scenario?

Thanks.
