I have seen this. It happens when a source file is small. Adding a lot of empty lines to the bottom of the file so it is more than a page or two was my workaround.

On one .m file in my project, when I type a space (almost always) the editor scrolls to the top of the file, then jumps back. The cursor does not move.
Changing the content at the top of the file — removing the header comment, taking the content out of an #if ... #endif block — cures the problem for the insertion of about three spaces, and then the problem returns.
It doesn't happen in the associated .h file.
The .m file is the last file that had been added, as a new file, to the project. It compiles cleanly.
Closing and reopening the project doesn't help. Closing and reopening Xcode doesn't help.
I'll cheerfully file a bug report, but does anyone have a workaround?
