At least the creepy cat doesn't take up half the screen with recent versions. Actually Dash is a nice case of gradual refinement. It started fundamentally solid and fast, but grotesque. It's remained fast (for me), but has gradually morphed into being aesthetically fine, and has accrued useful features and refinements.
