Hi,
xcodebuild has options for -target, -scheme, -configuration
But how can I tell xcodebuild to build for such and such destination?
In my specific case, I want to either build for an iOS device, or for some version of the iOS simulator.
The scheme editor currently shows the following available destinations:
- iOS Device
- iPad 5.1 Simulator
- iPad 6.0 Simulator
- iPad 6.1 Simulator
Hmmm… Maybe this suggests that "destination" is a "Run" parameter, not a "Build" parameter.
If you think I am confused, you are probably correct.
So then, if I want to build "for the device" or "for the simulator", how should I proceed?
Do I need to specify the correct value for both the -arch (e.g. armv7, arvm7s, i386) *and* the -sdk?
