Why Oh Why does the XCode 4 Apple LLVM 4.1 compiler still flag compile errors on the wrong line ???

 So here we are at the end of 2012  And i'm still coming across cases where the wrong line of code gets the red blob with the Apple LLVM 41. compiler.

Switch to GCC 4.2 and the problem goes away.


Shouldn't this have been dealt with years ago ?
