Was this also with this preference set?

	defaults write com.apple.dt.XCode IDEIndexDisable 1

Note that when you're using unofficial debug preferences all bets are pretty much off. Please also make sure to always mention any such settings that you've enabled, as it would be really difficult to be able to accurately diagnose any issues that you report.

When you hit this issue, please collect a sysdiagnose report like so:

	sudo sysdiagnose Xcode

It's going to take a while to collect the report. It's important that you let it run to completion, and that you don't quit / kill Xcode while it's running. When you have the sysdiagnose report, attach it to a new bug report here:

	<http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/>

If you email me the radar number of  your new bug report, I'll take a look right away.
