I just installed Xcode 4.2.1 on Lion. The default kern appears to be extremely tight. I would prefer to space the characters apart a bit. I did not notice this in Xcode 3.
Unfortunately, the font size/color preferences offer no such control and the Edit/Format/Kern submenu, while visible, is disabled (actually, the menu is enabled, but the options are disabled). This holds true as I change the font, so it doesn't not seem to reply on the font.
Is everyone seeing the same result in Xcode 4 that I'm seeing? Is no one else bothered by it? Is there some way to change it?
