undefined _objc_msgSend_fixup

  • Subject: undefined _objc_msgSend_fixup

I'm finally moving my Xcode development to Lion, and I've run into an error message when trying to compile a command-line helper tool.

Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
  "_objc_msgSend_fixup", referenced from:
      l_objc_msgSend_fixup_autorelease in ae_batch.o
     (maybe you meant: l_objc_msgSend_fixup_autorelease)
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Googling around I see references for people with MacPorts, but they usually say "get the patch". For those of us who have to fix our own code, any pointers?

Thanks,

Todd
