Well, let's take a deeper look.
If I right-click the scroll view that encloses the table view there are no connections … i.e. the little circles are empty … and my eyesight is good.
If I right-click the enclosed table view it shows a data source connection to the file's owner.
If I right-click file's owner it shows two referencing data source connections … one for the table view and one for an outline view that is also in the window.
File's owner is a sub class of NSWindowController.
So I can only go by what IB tells me and it shows no connection of a scroll view as a datasource or anything else like that.
I suspect the .xib is corrupt, enough to generate the warning but not enough to prevent loading … Xc4 does crash a lot, or have not you seen this?
Ergo, I believe the warning is Bogus until someone can offer a concrete means to find what generates the warning.
Still scratching' my head …
