Hey Bill, thanks for the suggestion.

Just before reading your email I implemented it in a very similar way.
I feel really dirty now and need to shower but it works :)

Will definitely file a radar for this. With the upcoming requirement
to have a helper app for "start on login" with the same bundle id
(still don't get why - but anyway) I see that need becoming more
popular.

Just being able to define an ENV variable that then is set for the
referenced project would be good enough. Something like
PARENT_SRCROOT if build as a cross-reference would be good enough.
That cannot be that hard to add.
