Can't symbolicate crash reports

  • Subject: Can't symbolicate crash reports

I have an app that I can't get to symbolicate in any way. I believe I have the right settings for the release build, but when I feed crash data to atos I only get back the addresses I feed into it, not the corresponding symbols.

I did a dwarfdump of the dSYM file and tried to manually look up some of the addresses, but the results were negative.

I'm on:
- Mac OS X 10.7.2
- Xcode 4.2

Relevant Settings:
- Base SDK: 10.7
- Valid archs: x86_64 only
- Compiler Apple LLVM 3.0
- Debug info format: DWARF with dSYM
- Deployment postprocessing: Yes
- Deployment target: 10.7
- Strip debug symbols during copy: NO
- Strip linked product: YES
- Strip style: All symbols
- Use separate strip: YES

Are there any other settings that might be of influence? Any ideas as to why the crash reports won't symbolicate?

- António
