why are my digests arriving as base64?

This is a little off-topic, but my daily digests for this list (and the Cocoa-dev list) have suddenly started arriving as base64. I can un-base64 them, of course, but I'm curious whether anyone has a thought as to why this is happening. And am I the only one? (If so, maybe it's something Dreamhost is doing to me.) m.
