Xcode Upgrade Confusion

Hi:

What am I missing?

I was successfully using Xcode 4.3.3 to develop apps, but I was sent an email from Apple stating as a Developer I could "Start developing for iOS today". That sounded good!

Apple also sent me a "OS X Mountain Developer Preview 4" and provided a link to download and install Mountain Lion. That sounded good too!

Both emails were sent at the same time.

However, after installing Mountain Lion the Xcode updater says that I can't update to the newest version because my OS is too new. Whaaaat?

Am I now supposed to wait until a Mountain Lion version of Xcode is developed?

If so, does anyone have any idea of when that will be?

Cheers,

tedd
