Your opinions sounds very windows-centric.  Just like the mac, windows
doesn't get everything right.  I've moved in an out of developing with
Visual C++/Visual Studio and it's never been a satisfying experience.
Just because I like the emacs experience doesn't mean you should, or
should have to work that way.  You should work in whatever way is most
productive for you.  IMHO, the biggest failing of every IDE I've used
is that they are only able to work ONE WAY, and if you do not conform,
then you are doomed to frustration at best.

Actually, I rather liked Project Builder--at least the one on
NeXTStep.  Did one thing, and did it well.
