Why is Instruments showing my Mac apps when selecting an iOS Simulator target?

  • Subject: Why is Instruments showing my Mac apps when selecting an iOS Simulator target?

I selected Memory under "iOS Simulator" in Instruments, then Zombies.  Created the document.  Went up to the toolbar to the "Choose Target" button, and under "Choose Target" it pulls up not my app in the simulator, but rather the Applications directory on my Mac!  What the hell?

There's a Debug build of my app loaded into the simulator, and it runs there.

I can find no way to choose my app in the simulator as the target.  Any insight appreciated.

Gavin
