Workspace Specific Environment Variables

  • Subject: Workspace Specific Environment Variables

Is there any way to define Workspace specific environment variables which are not tracked by VCS, namely which are stored in user settings?

When opening a certain Workspace I would like to have set certain environment variables, say path names to header search paths or library search paths, etc. which point to a local version of a sub module which is used by the Xcode build system when building the products in that Workspace.

I know that there are "Source Trees" in the Xcode preferences, but these define paths globally for all Xcode projects. I would like to have exactly this, but for a Workspace only.

Is this possibly, or what would be a feasible workaround?

Thanks for tips :)

Andreas
