OK I'm on Lion 10.7.3 using Xcode 4.3.1.
Open your xib editor;
Show the utilities;
In the object library search box type Combo;
Drag one to your xib;
Select the Atttributes Inspector from the utilities tab bar;
Observe the Visible  Items field showing 5;
Alter to suit your needs.

On the assumption that you do not have a visual impairment, if none (or even part) of the above is unfamiliar to you immediately stop programming and take the appropriate tutorial(s) for using Xcode.

If you do have some visual difficulty you could try using HiDPI (as I do).

While there are many many responsible and truly helpful emails on this list, of late it seems there are far too many from people who are too lazy to do their homework and expect others to sweat for them. As Euclid said "There is no royal road….."

Or is that just my "cranky old man" syndrome?

respect…
