Organizer says <Some App> Cannot be Validated

  • Subject: Organizer says <Some App> Cannot be Validated

I do not, as yet, distribute my app through MAS, however you never know.
When I try to validate an archived build of my app I get:

<Some App> Cannot be Validated

“KosmicTask (Release)” does not contain a single–bundle application or contains multiple products. Please select another archive, or adjust your scheme to create a single–bundle application.

My app contains a client, a server and numerous helper apps.
Why is this configuration frowned upon?
And what is a single bundle application exactly.

Regards
