You are of course 100% correct. That is by far the simpler way.
However I wrote it the way I did to give an example of how to search the documentation in general.
In the hope that it would encourage all of us to RTM as the first step.
Apple has spend lots of treasure and "blood" in providing documentation.
We have the responsibility to do our part and search it.
Perhaps then the lists will revert back to being virtual help desks rather than pulpits for the disaffected.
