My typing error.. I mean't nicht war ( which I understand to mean, literally, "not so?" I forgot the ;}

Of course you are correct. I stayed with Snow Leopard/Xcode 3 until I had explored Lion/Xcode4 for the kinds of things I do.
Since I am retired I have the luxury of no deadlines except those I impose on myself. The real world is much different, I know that.

I get the sense that the vast majority of the problems seem to be related to developing for the iDevices. I could be wrong, but that's what I infer.
For myself I haven't run into anything that cause me grief. But I only deal with desktop apps.

Of course not. I was trying to sardonic but it failed.
The point I wanted to make was that an awful lot of the comments here do not seem to be very scientific.
More like a venting party. There is a place for that but, IMHO, it would seem more productive to file bug reports/enhancement requests.
If everyone who vented here did that surely it would pile up at Apple Dev and get raised in priority and hence receive attention.
respect….
Peter
