As in linking to different libraries based on architecture? You do this by specifying architecture specific Linker Flags in the Build Settings. Click on the disclosure triangle for "Other Linker Flags" and by default it will open to Debug & Release. Select one of those and click on the plus button to allow for more fine grained configuration (based on SDK or architecture).
Also keep in mind that Xcode 4.3.2 is available, you may want to update.
