Xcode Breakpoint Issues

Sometimes, Xcode 4.x.x will not stop at breakpoints in certain projects.

There are other issues related to breakpoints, but today, Xcode doesn't stop at breakpoints set in sources of a framework - no matter what I do. This is becoming a real big annoyance. The framework is properly added (as much as possible) to a workspace containing also the main project  - which is a unit test whose code is Objective-C.

Any thoughts or hints how to get this working - or how to figure the source of the problem?
