"OSStatus error 100021" when trying to verify my app for App Store

I am always getting this error, and am unable to complete verification. XCode 4.5.1. This used to work in older versions of XCode. There don't appear to be any relevant error messages on the Console.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
I have asked on the Apple developer forums, but nobody has replied, and I need to submit my application asap.
I tried looking in MacErrors.h, and if that is the code that is being used, it looks as if it might mean "Is a directory", which leaves me as unenlightened as when I started.
Any suggestions of where to go with this next?
