Does anyone know offhand if it is possible to install and use Xcode 2.5 on
10.6. (Snow Leopard)?
I am porting an old PPC Carbon app, I've just gotten it to compile as Intel
on 10.4.11, and it looks fine (after much byte-swapping and fixing some
things). I tried running the app on 10.6.8 and there's some weird image
corruption (1 pixel across the bottom of each image) going on, something to
do with GWorlds in the original code, I think - but anyway, I'd like to
build it and debug it on 10.6 if that's possible, while staying in Xcode 2.5
for now.
This article claims it's possible, but is a little vague on the details:

This article claims it's possible, but the link to the apple document it
references is no longer available:

There was a discussion here years ago where the conclusion seemed to be that
it was not possible. But these threads above contradict that.
Before I start mucking with this, I thought I'd ask if anyone has had any
luck with this or knows if it's possible - or has more up-to-date info.
Thanks,
- Stephen
