Reverting to previous version after autosave?

  • Thread-topic: Reverting to previous version after autosave?

Greetings,

I recently opened a file with Xcode 4.5.1, running on Mountain Lion. This wasn't a project file, just some external file that had some code I wanted to copy. Unfortunately, I Cut instead of Copied. No big deal, I'll just close the window without saving changes.

Oops. Looks like Xcode auto saves. Fine, I'll reopen the file and use the "Revert To->" menu. Oops. Where is Xcode's "Revert To->" menu or its equivalent?

Fortunately, I was able to open the file with TextEdit and restore the previous version. I'm probably missing something obvious, but how does one do that within Xcode?

Thanks!
