You're using Xcode 2.5, right? I'm extremely rusty on this, and going by memory, so take it as just something to try…
Double-click the target to open the Target Info window, and the Build tab. If I'm right, you're now looking at a table of build settings. As I remember there is a search field, which will search for settings on the basis of label, description, and setting name; type USE_HEADERMAP. As I recall, it was a standard option back then. Edit the value to No.
If it's not in the standard set, I seem to remember there was a + button that allowed you to add your own. Name: USE_HEADERMAP, value: NO.
In Xcode 4:
In the Build Settings editor (for your target, or for the project, subject to overrides in your targets), select from the button at lower-right Add Build Setting > Add User-Defined Setting. A row for the new setting will appear in the editor. Type USE_HEADERMAP, tab, NO, return.
