Xcode 4.5 keeps re-downloading and never finishes the install

I am tryng to install Xcode 4.5 through the app store on my MacBook
(Early 2008, 10.7.5), but after it goes through the 'installing' phase
it starts to re-download the 1.6 GB again. This now happened 3 times,
on different days and the install never finishes. Installing Xcode on
my iMac with ML went without a glitch.
Anyone knows what could be going on and how to fix this?
