How to 'unsandbox'

I have two version of my app via two targets, one to be sandboxed, for the app store, the other not be.

I inadvertently set entitlements and enable sandbox on the target that should not be sandboxed.

Now now matter what, turn off sand box, turn off entitlements, that app behaves as if sandboxed.

In particular the app contains a quick look generator that needs to read a file the app writes.  The generator is denied file read.

So how can i 'unsandbox' this app?
