Positioning Controls

Hellow,
I've been playing with xcode for much of the afternoon that I haven't been messing around on skype. Anyway, I was thinking about my actual app that I want to make and what controls i would need. I know which controls I would need, but for arguments sake I tried only to add a roundRectButton. Well sure xcode adds it just fine and I can label it and position the text on the button, but does anyone know how to go about positioning it where I want it to go with voiceover? I though I had worked out how to do it through the editor menu or the inspection pane, but apparently not. It insists on staying on the top-left of the screen wen I go and run the app. It would make things a whole lot easier if you could just do stuff by nice old writing the code, but alas no ...
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I thought I'd put the question up now, because the way I've changed my mind about the design of the app, it's probably going to have about 8 controls altogether.
Thanks for any suggestions,
Harmony.
