XCode And Voiceover Question

Hellow,

I"m using the following tutorial to hopefully understand more about makng iPhone apps with objective c and xcode: http://www.raywenderlich.com/33330/core-graphics-tutorial-glossy-buttons#more-33330

Anyway, I've done most of the stuff under the heading Getting Started on this page, but am stuck with this line:Then, control-drag from ViewController in the View Controller Scene panel on the left to the button and connect it to the coolButton outlet. Similarly, control-drag from each slider up to ViewController in theView Controller Scene panel on the left to connect it to the appropriate value changed callback.

Could someone try and explain how to do this with voiceover please? I know how to do a normal drag and drop which is the voiceover keys comma, but I've never had to do a control drag before.
