I just set the intention to "Prefer indent using: spaces" and that works.
If you do not want ANY auto indention, then set the indent to use 0 spaces in the "Indent width" setting.
Just tested and verified this.
To address your second issue, when you change computers, you MUST export your developer certificate from your login keychain as a p12 file using the Keychain Assistant application and import it into your login keychain on your other computer.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how I might be able to fix it? I know some people find autoindenting and stuff helpful, but I find it more of a hinderence. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but if I wanted something to be put in my code, I would have put it there and I'm fed up of having to go all the way back and delete all the tab characters.

I can never what it says on the apple site about that, but I know it is mentioned.
