Dear All,
I have a large folder tree containing re-usable general purpose code that I include into most of the applications I develop.
Right now, it sits outside of all projects. When needing it, I just drag it into the project, creating groups for any added folders and adding it to the target. Also, I have custom user header search paths configured accordingly.
It works well, but when I create new folders and add new source files to my "library", those aren't updated in all projects. They aren't visible in the folder tree and they aren't added to the target. The quickest solution I have is to remove the root folder of my "library" and add it again.
I tried to create folder references for any added folders instead of creating groups for any added folders. Situation is improved, but I lost code-completion as well as the ability to compile.
Without creating a framewok, how can I share code across projects, and have any change like file/folder creation updated in Xcode?
I also tried to gather all projects in the same workspace. No luck. Maybe I missed something.
