Assuming I have a cocoa app that uses some static libraries and assuming the producer of the libraries is willing to build separate 32 and 64 bit versions but not a universal binary library. Can I use these libraries to produce a universal binary app using xcode.
I tried looking for ways to conditionally link the app to make it use this library when linking the 32 bit and the other when building the 64 bit - but couldn't find anything.
I also thought maybe I can somehow fuse the libraries myself using one of the available tools but I'm not sure which one applies (lipo?)
Thanks,
