Is there really no "find in workspace" function?

I'm going to file a bug report on this, but I guess the question is
what kind of report.

I've added a framework project to my workspace, but "find in project"
misses everything in it. And there's no apparent way to search the
entire workspace instead.

Is there a non-apparent way, or is this just a glaring omission?

Thanks.

Gavin
