Have I any recourse?

  • Subject: Have I any recourse?

Whilst attempting to load an old project in Xcode 5, a rather curt alert panel pops up:

Failed to load project.
Incompatible project version.
                   [ OK ]

(the forced "OK" is a nice touch, BTW :)

As luck would have it, I recently purged my system of all older Xcode versions. I'm now 10.8.5 and 5.0 only. The Xcode project file in question ends in ".xcode" instead of ".xcodeproj", which undoubtedly dates it.

Might there be some migration path, or must I needs create a new project and manually integrate the source code into it?

Cheers,
-Carl
