Dear list readers,
I'm trying to install subversion 1.7 by running the command line "sudo port install subversion".
ALthough I'm not aware of any old XCode versions on my machine, I keep getting this strange error message
Error:
Error: No valid Xcode installation is properly selected.
Error: Please use xcode-select to select an Xcode installation:
Error: sudo xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer # version 4.5.2
Error:
Error: The installed version of Xcode (2.0orlower) is too old to use on the installed OS version. Version 4.1 or later is recommended on Mac OS X 10.8.

I've got XCode 4.5.2 running under OS X 10.8.2..
I have looked everywhere on the hard disk, but couldn't find any older version of XCode.
Does anybody have an idea what could cause this error message? Is there some hidden system file or folder that makes the script believe I still got XCode 2? How can I get rid of it and make the install routine work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
