Doug, I can help you out with this later on tonight if you want. I recently started from scratch on an iOS Enterprise dist.
If you want to iChat or message, you can use my mac.com address and I'll be online.
One thing you could do is download the cert from the provisioning portal and install int into Xcode or the keychain and see if that helps. Otherwise, I'll be online if you want to work through it.
It seems like you need to start from ground zero, on a new keychain but there is always some witchcraft required in getting these up to speed.
Do you have the intermediate cert(s) installed?
The AWDRCA cert?
