Thank you, Juan, but "Oh, no!" This is not the kind of answer I was hoping for. The little problem I described in my original post is actually a digression. I am trying to reproduce my *real* problem in a sample project, but need a little Core Data migration to demo it.
The mapping I described in my original post is, I think, at the "Hello World" level of simplicity. Add one attribute and define an attribute mapping (expression) for it.
Can anyone read the steps in my original post and explain how I'm doing or expecting something stupid?
