Well, it looks like the answer to this is not well known.  Maybe I should try one of those open-source testing frameworks which are said to be better than SenTest, if I'm still annoyed after testing in Xcode 5.

Regarding my observation that test failures show up in the Issues Navigator after a delay, that happened more than once today.  They can show up after 2, 10 or 100 seconds.  Really weird.

But presently I've fixed all of my test failures, so I'm moving on :)
