Exactly. I don't want to wait for the Checking Dependencies step for *each* of the multiple subprojects as well as the main project. Depending on the amount of indexing Xcode is doing in the background, disk access will already be grinding to a halt, so this step can often take upwards of a minute or two. Seriously. I just want to compile one stinking file.
