The following applies to any (recent) version of Xcode and may or may
not apply to prerelease versions we may or may not be able to discuss
in this forum. ;-)
1) Do a "Clean build folder" (hold down option and you'll see it in
the Product menu) -- this will wipe out all temporary files
2) Report the problem so it gets fixed http://bugreport.apple.com
I've definitely seen 4.6 get confused after an SDK update in a way
that 1) usually fixes.

Xcode 4 which is new, I've not looked recently? If 5 and you have
preprocessor issues, that would definitely be a good time to hit up
bugreporter (which is still working just about), those sound wrong;
design decisions are probably here to stay.
