By far the easiest way, if you have access to the other machine, is to use the "export developer profile" feature, which will pull all the right stuff from the the right places and transfer it to the new install in one file.
If not, you need to make sure you have the proper private key in your keychain for signing, and also that you have a mobile provision downloaded on the new machine that matches your bundle id and contains the UDID of the test device. The easiest way to make sure that's up to date is to go into the Organizer window, Devices, then select Provisioning Profiles at the top. If you click the Refresh button on the lower right, Xcode will ask you for your Apple ID credentials and attempt to download any valid profiles.

Anyway, I've finally got round to generating both a development and a distribution certificate and put them in my keychain and also save them on an external drive, so if/when I do change computers I won't have too much messing around to do. The trouble is, I go into my app in xcode (which I'm rewriting due to not being able to get on the other computer), try and run the app on my phone, since the iPhone is what I'm mainly developing for at the minute, but I still get a code signing error.
