Ideas?
I'd like to know an answer to this too. I have an Xcode project in
which the products always stay red in the list, even though
everything builds and runs properly, and when the products are
already up to date, doing a build doesn't rebuild them. It seems as
if almost all of Xcode thinks the products are in one place, except
for the part that displays that list, which thinks they're in another
and doesn't find them there. But I haven't found a setting to tweak.
My file layout is non-default in a different way to Trygve's. The
source files are in directories alongside the Xcode project
directory. They can't go inside the project directory, because they
have to be buildable by two other IDEs as well, so all three of them
are set up to have the source outside the project.
One of those IDEs is Xcode 3, which doesn't have the problem.
