Xcode cannot run using the selected device

  • Subject: Xcode cannot run using the selected device

I had an iPod with an OS version I cannot talk about and Xcode also with a secret version. And all was fine.

Today I upgraded both the iPad and Xcode to the latest versions.

Now, when I connect the iPad to my computer and do Xcode → Run, I get:

Xcode cannot run using the selected device.
No provisioned iOS devices are available with a compatible iOS version. Connect an iOS device with a recent enough version of iOS to run your application or choose an iOS simulator as the destination.

Connection my iPhone with iOS 6.1.3 works fine with Xcode.

Is there any way to make my iPad work again with Xcode?

Gerriet.
